Norbury Park is a beautiful green space in the heart of Norbury, but sometimes, it is plagued by litter and fly-tipping. As a community, we can take action to keep the park clean and enjoyable for all to use.
That's why we're calling on all residents to join us for a volunteer cleaning event on Saturday, February 25th (9:45am) at Norbury Park. We will meet at the London Road Entrance and work together to clear litter and fly-tipping from the park and surrounding areas.
Volunteering at Norbury Park not only benefits the community but also yourself. Studies have shown that being in nature and participating in community service can improve mental health and reduce stress.
So, if you're looking for a way to give back to your community and enjoy some time in nature, come join us for the Norbury Park Clean-up event. We will provide all the necessary equipment, but please wear comfortable clothes and good shoes.
